Our 2010 in rewind

Thank you so much for your business, support and encouragement throughout this year!

As we step into the next big thing, I thought it would be a nice closing touch to rewind and share some of the wonderful experiences that made Felder & Co.'s 2010 a memorable adventure.

We started the year expanding our footprint into South Euclid, OH, teaming up with local salon, Kinky Curly Straight, and opening a boutique within their lobby, launched a newly styled website and online boutique thanks to Brian Parks and Webxotic; we rounded the year up returning to Crocker Park in Westlake, OH, with our seasonal holiday boutique.

Our three divisions, established in 2008, Style My Event, Gorgeous Giving & Gorgeous Living each had their own notable moments...

Style My Event styled 3 blushing brides down the aisle with gorgeous floral arrangements, celebrated in vivid color Skylor's 5th birthday and Alexandria's ICarly inspired birthday taught me all about the tween sensation. We created event design for Links, Inc. and iCan Schools, showed off our culinary skills with a Thanksgiving feast with all the decor trimmings styled a spa inspired soiree and assisted 4 others in styling their social celebrations.

My most memorable and rewarding opportunity of the year was working side by side with Terri Hamilton Brown as she placed her hat in the race for Cuyahoga County's County Executive, the end results were not as we hoped for but the journey was more than I could have asked for and the experience has definitely helped to make our year a success!

Gorgeous Giving had a tremendous year and had the privilege of styling over 30 gifts and again being the official holiday gift wrapper for shoppers at Crocker Park in Westlake, Ohio. We met stationery fashionista Aaron Potts of Aaron Potts NYC his stylish line is available in our online boutique.

Gorgeous Living introduced some fabulous new lines this year, Votivo, makers of the #1 candle fragrance in the world, Red Currant and also Oprah's fave, Rain! We also featured a wonderful line of handmade Santa dolls, designed by Hilton Head's own Lynda Hawley!

For the second consecutive year I was awarded the Sankofa Fine Art Plus, Women Cookin' for the Arts People's Choice Award, this year for White Chicken Chili.

Also was recognized with the 2010 PowerNetworker to Watch award from George Fraser, CEO Frasernet, Inc.

Felder & Co. was excited to be selected to be a part of the President's Council's 2010-2011 class of Emerging Entrepreneurs and I'm enjoying the opportunity to develop and grow as a business all while working with other amazingly talented emerging business owners.

Another year is about to roll in and the excitement is almost impossible to contain. I am so very grateful for the many friendships and connections that were made in 2010 and pray that each of you have a prosperous and healthy New Year!

Yours in style,
